In this day and age, many churches strive to be and do all sorts of things to set themselves apart as unique. At Loxley Presbyterian Church, we know that there is really only one thing that matters and one thing should drive everything else – the Gospel – the Good News of Jesus Christ!

The apostle Paul wrote that the Gospel is the thing of “first importance” and that it is the “power of God for salvation” 1 Cor. 15:3 and Rom 1:16). This means that the message of God’s grace through Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin makes the church what it is and at Loxley, we strive to keep that message front and center.

The message of Christ provides meaning and beauty to our lives; it drives out fear and insecurity so that we may approach God with boldness and love; it transforms our minds and empowers us to follow Christ with both passion and realism; it binds people in community and services to be a blessing to those both in and outside the body of Christ.
